This is for those of you who have seen the fabulous announcement trailer but were left with a hole in your soul that can only be filled with moving pictures. It’s from a level called Puppet Circus and it gives you a run down of the different PlayStation® Vita specific mechanics such as touch, back-touch and tilt.
LittleBigPlanet Vita nominated for ‘Best of E3′!
OK, so LittleBigPlanet™ Vita seems to have been pretty well received at E3 this year! Having worked unbelievably hard to do justice to this wonderful franchise, everybody here at Tarsier is over the moon with the reception it’s received so far.
Although we’re generally a humble bunch of people, we hope you’ll forgive us a little toot of our own trumpet with this latest news from the interweb. Firstly, LittleBigPlanet™ Vita has been nominated in two categories for IGN’s Best of E3 Awards! Secondly, people are saying such nice things about this love and caffeine infused creation of ours! Below you can find a brief selection of some of the reactions the game has had so far.
“I’ve been waiting to play something and have the gameplay click with the touch screen controls, and today it happened. LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation® Vita is a delight.” (IGN)
“Of all the Vita games we saw, LittleBigPlanet seems to take the most advantage of the Vita’s new controls, and will likely be a showcase game as the new platform grows into its own.” (Joystiq)
“LittleBigPlanet suddenly serves (iPhone and DS included) as one of the best reasons to have a touchscreen on a gaming device in the first place.” (Joystiq)
“All of the Vita launch games I saw tonight looked great, but LBP had to be one of the best-looking ones out there so far.” (Gaming Essence)
“Oh my (BLEEPING BLEEP). Little Big Planet on the PlayStation Vita is the most amazing thing ever.” (read on Twitter)
This is just the beginning though. The E3 stuff was, as the French would say, an Amuse Bouche (‘Funny Mouth’). We’ve got tons of cool stuff that’ll be sailing blog-wards over the next few months, so keep your bananas peeled.
