At the end of last year Sony ran an awesome LittleBigPlanet contest for the chance to win a month-long internship with us here at Tarsier Studios. During his stay we would work with the lucky winner to polish his level into a true community gem and introduce him to the dark secrets of game development!
After playing through hundreds of amazing LittleBigPlanet PS Vita levels created by players from all over Europe the judges decided that Simone’s entry, Flint, was the best. So Sony flew him out to Sweden to join us at the beginning of June.
Over the course of the past four weeks Simone worked closely with our designers and artists. During that time he learned a lot about how we made the story levels in LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and we helped him make his mini-game even better than it already was. We think the end result is a great showcase of what anyone can create with LittleBigPlanet given a bit of time!
It was awesome to have a LittleBigPlanet fan as motivated as Simone in the office for four weeks and to see how quickly he improved upon his level after just a little feedback from us!
