LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Launches Next Week!

LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is almost here! By the end of next week most of you can go and pick up a copy from your favourite retailer or download the game directly from the PS Store! We really think you are going to love it!

As you may have noticed reviews recently started popping up all over the Internet and they have been very positive! Have a look at all the wonderful things they had to say:

EDGE – 9/10

The environments keep pace with the mechanics, shifting from clutters of dusty books to stacks of videotape, glossy telephone handsets, and mansions built from time-weathered driftwood, and there’s a hint of Super Mario Galaxy’s scattershot creativity in the way new ideas, and new scenarios, are cast aside after a single dazzling outing.

CVG – 9.2/10

Simply, the best LBP on any format. Combines smart design with Vita’s controls, and adds incredible online functionality to make it the first essential Vita game.

Playstation Universe – 9.5/10

Pure, unadulterated fun positively oozes from arguably the best level design in series history, and the experience is amplified by the most engaging touch mechanics ever seen in a video game. Themes of wonder and discovery are no longer theoretical constructs to provide background for this world. For the first time, wonder and discovery are things you feel as you jump, swing, and puzzle-solve through clever use after clever use of the Vita’s unique control features.

Polygon – 9/10

LittleBigPlanet Vita is the best thing on the Vita to date, a perfect fit formed between the hardware and the franchise. But it doesn’t just succeed on a conceptual level; it’s polished, addictive, and precious. In every imaginable way, LittleBigPlanet Vita is a knockout.

The Guardian – 4/5

Happily, the conventional game side of LittleBigPlanet for the PS Vita massively outshines its equivalents in the two PS3 games. Taken merely as a standalone platform game, you’d have to say that it’s up there with the very best; it’s so wildly inventive and shot through with humour that you could imagine that Miyamoto himself might have created it.

As you can imagine everyone here at Tarsier and over at Double Eleven was completely blown away by the response we got from the reviewers! We really, really can’t wait to hear what all of you think of the game and see what amazing things you are going to create!
